I use permaculture and organic gardening ​practices, and am a strong believer in ​regenerative agriculture to save the world!

In just over a year I have augmented my small ​but beautiful yard with 3 fig trees, 3 citrus ​trees, 2 mulberry trees (I just enjoyed a good ​harvest from one of them), cherry, apricot, ​and olive trees. I added 3 small raised beds ​that are growing herbs, garlic, onions, beets, ​cabbage, and chard. I’m hoping to add more ​fruit trees and raised beds in the next year.

I studied Permaculture Design at the ​Sonoran Permaculture Guild in Tucson ​twelve years ago. I then put those studies ​to practice in a homestead on acreage in ​the Tucson Mountains, with vegetable ​plots, fruit trees, chickens, goats, and ​bees. After 11 years and in my late 60s, ​we downsized to our current home by the ​Tucson Mountains with a back yard that I ​am continuing to transform into a fruitful ​garden and tranquil oasis.
